I am Assistant Professor of Library and Information Studies at ODU. Previously, I was a high school social studies teacher for 7 years and an elementary and high school librarian for 10 years. My research interests include critical examination of libraries, exploration of STEAM experiences for students, consideration of technology’s role in librarian practices, and understanding of the significance of libraries within communities.
