About me
Kelley Hummingbird is a Research Associate and Citizen of the Cherokee Nation. A descendant of boarding school survivors, she brings both personal and scholarly commitment to her work. Kelley is a PhD student at the University of Alabama, a Cobell Scholar, and serves as 2025–2026 Chair of SAA’s Native American Archives Section and Nominating Committee.
