Dr. Jieun Yeon is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland College of Information. Her research centers on public library governance, aiming to facilitate democratic and community-oriented decision-making for public library professionals and community members. Her ongoing research project examines the decision-making process and responsiveness of public library professionals navigating book challenges within complex organizational and institutional environments.
