About me
Jiangping Chen is a professor at the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She earned her Ph.D. in information transfer from Syracuse University, New York. Her recent research focuses on information and user services, misinformation, digital libraries, and applying data analytics, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence to address information problems. She has authored one monograph and published more than 90 articles in academic journals and conference proceedings. Her work has appeared in journals such as Library & Information Science Research, The Electronic Library, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Information Processing and Management, Journal of Informetrics, and Aslib Journal of Information Management.
