About me
Caitlin is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice and the Coordinator of the Graduate Certificate in Archival Studies at Louisiana State University's School of Information Studies. She received her PhD from the University of Maryland in 2025, and her MLIS and MA in History from Simmons University in 2013. Caitlin is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of dh+lib. Her dissertation research focused on social, restorative, reparative, and racial justice initiatives in academic archival settings, particularly in terms of gaps between published theory and practice, universities as racialized organizations, and the role of the individual archivists making change within larger organizations.
