This study explores how the COVID-19 pandemic and the shift to emergency remote learning (ERL) influenced the evolving role of K–12 school librarians. Using semi-structured interviews with 12 certified school librarians in Massachusetts, the study examined how pandemic-era practices have been incorporated into current professional responsibilities. Findings revealed five enduring areas of practice: online instruction, remote access to resources and services, technology support for learning, instructional technology leadership, and social media communication. The findings highlight enduring changes in school librarians’ instructional and leadership practices in post-pandemic K–12 education.
