The proposed evaluation seeks to survey both practicing health science librarians and students from a participating graduate LIS program to gauge students’ goals in taking the course and perceived comprehension against a set of professional competencies, and measure the satisfaction of practicing professionals with their education after establishing themselves in the field. The findings of the study will provide a benchmark for improving graduate LIS education, enhancing librarians’ aptitude and contributions to the academic spaces they inhabit.
