2026 ALISE Annual Conference

This study examines how undergraduate courses in Library and Information Science (LIS) and information-related programs in the United States include artificial intelligence (AI) and copyright-related content. Based on courses from nine U.S. institutions, the study finds that while some courses include AI or copyright topics, fewer courses connect AI and coptright to AI-generated content. The findings highlight the need to integrate AI literacy, copyright awareness, and ethical reasoning into undergraduate information education.
