This study examines how learners physically co-create with AI and what forms of tacit knowledge emerge through that process. Nine participants engaged with AI tools alongside human facilitators in an e-textile making workshop in Champaign-Urbana. Findings reveal no consensus on how AI supported ideation, process, or outcomes, suggesting its role is highly individual. Emotionally, participants expressed confidence, curiosity, and surprise, while navigating stress and frustration. This study contributes to understanding how human-AI collaboration unfolds in embodied, socially constructed learning environments.
