2026 ALISE Annual Conference

This poster reports on the design of On Our Terms, an open educational resource on library-vendor relationships. Designed to augment LIS curricula in this area, this collection of modules and activities prepares emerging library workers to navigate vendor relationships as they evaluate technology and engage in collections development. In addition to providing an overview of the resource, this poster shares findings from a survey of library workers on competencies they view as critical and on how their MLIS programs prepared them for this work.
