About me
Toni Anaya (she/her/hers) is a Professor and Associate Director of Information Services & Learning Spaces (ISLeS) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language & Literature, a Master of Library and Information Sciences from the University of Arizona, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Library and Information Management at Emporia State University as one of seven Fellows in the American Library Association Spectrum Doctoral Fellows Program. Her current area of research is in information literacy skills development and the intergenerational knowledge transfer of those skills by first-generation, non-traditional, and international students, as well as the impact of misinformation and disinformation on democracy.
