About me
Qiaoyi is a third-year PhD candidate in Information Science and Technology at Syracuse University. With a background in biology and library science, she adopts an interdisciplinary approach to knowledge organization (KO) and science of science (SoS) studies, focusing on biological knowledge representation and ontology construction anchoring knowledge standardizations and epistemological practices. She applies theories from classification, philosophy of sciences, and scientometrics to study evolving knowledge infrastructures and computational models in biological science inquiry.
