About me
Kimberly R. Lavoie is a library and information science educator and former K–12 school librarian with over fifteen years of professional practice across elementary, middle, and high school settings. She earned her PhD in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, where her dissertation examined the impact of emergency remote learning on the role of the school librarian. Her research interests include school librarianship, blended learning environments, and youth information behavior. She currently teaches graduate courses in library and information science and mentors emerging school librarians and information professionals.
