About me
Isabella is a community-based researcher interested in studying the co-design of digital tools used for the advancement of social justice oriented agendas of community groups. She aims to understand how these tools are manifested through relationships and networks and how these groups integrate data on their own terms. She believes this type of work needs critical approaches with robust ethnographic methods that work with both humans and artifacts from an action-centered approach. Her work brings her to an intersection of science and technology studies, community informatics, computer supported cooperative work, and feminist cartographies.
