About me
Elaine Kong (she/her) is a PhD student in Library and Information Science at the School of Computing and Information, University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on how cancer survivors in underserved communities seek and evaluate online health information, particularly related to complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). She is also interested in culturally responsive information systems that support informed decision-making and address misinformation in digital health communication.
