Chris Wiley is a PhD candidate in Information Science at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Data Services Librarian. His research examines digital information practices in online environments, with a focus on visibility, identity, and sociotechnical systems. His work explores how individuals navigate platformed spaces, engage in knowledge production, and build community through digital media.
