About me
Andrea Jamison is an assistant professor of school librarianship at Illinois State University with more than seventeen years of experience in schools and libraries. She has served on the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Jury, been a reviewer for Booklist, worked as a Diverse BookFinder Coder and Group Leader, and chaired ALA’s Ethnic and Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table. She currently serves as President of Literacy Nation, an American Library Association affiliate, and as ALA's 2025–2027 Chair of the Coretta Scott King Virginia Hamilton Award for Lifetime Achievement Committee
